They were looking for guidance in creating a functional family home that reflects their glam-girl-meets-water-sport-enthusiast lifestyle. That’s what we gave them, using nautical-inspired windows in the bathrooms, a dutch door out the kitchen, as well as an indoor/outdoor kitchen, and a eye-catching balcony that incorporates the second floor and great room below. Then, a gorgeous master bath with a soaking tub, black pebble tile, and chevron painted Wainscoting. With all of the thoughtfulness and attention to detail, this home still feels casual, inviting, and real — like you want to crack a Beer, and stay awhile.
